Caddo Lake Cypress

One's attention is first drawn to the bottom of this long lens, vertical image. There one finds four spaced apart cypress tree trunks emanating from the swamp water which has a thin layer of fog just above it. This fog is the brightest area of the image and glows blue, reflecting the pre dawn sky above. From there the eye moves up to see that four fifths of the image above shows the many branches of the trees draped with Spanish moss and some dull fall colors still clinging to a few.
