Foggy Bandon Beach

It's a stormy, foggy day on this rocky section of the Oregon coast. This black and white image shows nearby, large rocks that extend up from the water and out of the top of the frame. Positioned a bit left of center there is a gap between these rocks, there, in the fog, one can see the outline of a claw like rock spire. Behind it and further back, more obscured by fog, is a hint of another large rock formation. In the foreground, in the bottom half of the image, a longer exposure causes the surface froth on a retreating wave to record as streaks and swirl patterns that please the eye and lead it up from the bottom to the rocks and distant spire.
