Paintbrush in Rocky Mountains

This wide angle, vertical image is from an alpine meadow high in the Rocky Mountains above Crested Butte, Colorado. The sun has risen, but it's still early in the morning. The lower half of the frame shows a close foreground of vibrant orange Indian Paintbrush contrasting nicely with other green plants in the meadow. The upper half of the frame shows the bottom of a large, nearby spruce tree on the left third then on the right two thirds the view is down and through the mountainside meadow to the forested valley below where early clouds still linger. On the far side of these clouds mountain tops rise into a pretty, partly cloudy sky.
