Crested Butte Mountain Sunrise

The view is from high in an alpine meadow with white and yellow wildflowers in the foreground on the left. The meadow slopes down to the right then flattens in a saddle where a forest begins. Wispy morning fog hangs in this forest, but further back, in the middle of the image, dense fog fills a low valley and a ridge of Rocky Mountains rises out of the fog on the far side of the valley. Above the mountains the sun is coloring many of the clouds yellow, but has not yet broken through to shine direct light on the scene.
