Sieur de Monts Trail

This black and white image show a dirt path entering in the bottom, middle of the frame filling four fifths of the width. The dirt path narrows to a vanishing point about two thirds of the way up the image. Lining both sides of the path are tight clusters of thin wavy birch trees, whose bare trunks are between three and seven inched in diameter. Their branches interlace over the path creating a tunnel that pinches to a small point at the vanishing point.
