Port Aransas Sunrise

This sunrise image looks out over the Gulf of Mexico from the top of tall dunes. In the foreground, the lower half of the image, there is a sandy path emerging from the bottom center and heading up in the frame and back in the composition. Each side of the path has a big rope suspended from wooden posts and behind is thick, low vegetation. Near the center of the image the path disappears as it transitions to stairs and descends out of sight. Further back and higher in the frame is a sandy beach then the sea. Above, and left of center, the sun is just breaking through clouds and is giving a warm, yellow glow to the sky around it.
