Hug Point Light Beams

In this vertical, black and white image, in the center of the frame, a small waterfall falls about fifteen feet over a rock ledge to a sandy beach and forms a braided stream that flows through the sand toward the camera in the bottom half of the image. In the upper half there are trees growing on a short hillside above the falls. The trees stand much taller than the hill and the sun has risen enough to be behind the trees. However, the trees are not very dense, it is a little foggy and there are many gaps in the branches where the sun is and each one becomes a pronounced light beam projecting into the scene.
