Horrace Caldwell Pier

The oranges and blues one sees when facing sunrise at the beach dominate the sky and water in this scene. It's early and these colors pervade the atmosphere, but the sun is still too low to light any of the beautiful, striated clouds in the sky. A pier enters the middle of the left side of the frame and narrows as it moves out and away and across three quarter of the image to where it ends near the horizon.
