Heceta Head Lighthouse

Stormy day panorama of the Heceta Head Lighthouse and lighthouse keepers home as viewed from Heceta Beach. This image shows a line of barnacle covered rocks sweeping in from the right side of the image and diminishing in size as they move away from the camera across the beach toward the ocean. About midway through the image the rocks dwindle away, then on the left, one sees the ocean lapping on a sandy beach. Above the beach are forested Oregon coast hills whose tops are shrouded in clouds. On the left side of the image, on a point above the ocean, sits the Heceta Head Lighthouse. Just to the right of the center of the image, in a forest clearing, is the light keepers house which is painted white and has a red roof.
