Delicate Arch Sunset

The view is to the east, the sun is setting behind the camera. The sky is the most overwhelming part of this image, it is full of lenticular clouds reflecting a range of pinks and yellows that contrast marvelously with the blue gaps between them. The red rocks of Delicate Arch and it's natural amphitheater are in the bottom half of the image and here they glow orange with the warm reflected light from the sky. This is the classic composition which shows the distant La Sal Mountains with early winter snow positioned left and right behind the arch and being visible inside the arch.
